Summer Break

I wish everybody a wonderful summer. I'll be back mid-August.

A Charity Project

This male paper doll illustrates the short story "Klamotten-Heinz" by author Christina Bacher about a homeless man, who loves clothes. The story and the illustration are contributions to the book "Köln trotz(t) Armut - Bestes vom Draussenseiter, Das Kölner Straßenmagazin" (Daedalus Verlag). It's a charity project for homeless people in Cologne and will be available by mid June.

Poster for Children's Musical

I created this poster for my daughter's school choir. They perform a musical once a year. This year's title is "Erdlinge". It's about some funny creatures who live underground. Everybody is looking forward to the performance.

Go for it!

I will show my work this coming weekend on the illustrator's show in Cologne:

My Favorite Season – there it is!

In my next life, I'm going to be a flower seller in Italy, driving around in my charming old Ape Car.

Dogs With People

Always a nice subject: people and their pets. I used some pictures from a visit to a dog show in California and some found photos from the internet to create some painterly illustrations.

Happy Holidays!

The merry Herrmanns: wishing for snow and peace.
